FBReaderJ 0.7.9/10/11 is released (October 24, 2010).

• New progress indicator style has been added: a footer with indicator bar, page number, battery level and clock. This look can be configured (or replaced by the old one) in 'Menu->Settings->Scrollbar. The code is taken from FBReaderJ fork by Yuri Chernyavskiy.
• "Prevent screen from sleep" option has been extended: preventing can be disabled if battery level is too low.

FBReaderJ 0.7.8 is released (October 10, 2010).

FBReader and FBReaderJ repositories have been migrated to git (and to github.com). Since today all the changes in FBReader/FBReaderJ would be commited in these new repositories. All the developers are welcome to create branches/provide patches for the programs.

FBReader 0.12.6 for Linux/Windows computers and SmartQ devices is released (March 3, 2010).
Changes:

• The viewing of ePub files from fictionwise.com has been fixed. A set of files from this site are compressed with some errors. However other readers (like Adobe Digital Editions) allows to read these books. FBReader 0.12.6 supports such books too.

A bugfix release 0.12.5.1 for Windows is available (February 23, 2010).
Changes:

• A bug related to image links in ePub files has been fixed.
• An authentication on the FeedBooks site has been fixed.

These bugs are Windows-specific, no changes are required for Linux platform.

FBReader 0.12.5 for Linux/Windows computers and SmartQ devices is released (February 22, 2010).

• The ePub format support has been improved: better CSS support has been implemented; the images in <svg> tag are now visible; a bug in the unzip code has been fixed.
• Better integration with network e-libraries: an authorization have been implemented for FeedBooks and Shucang sites.
• Full localizations for Dutch, Hungarian and Spanish have been added. Many thanks to the translators: Bosel (Dutch localization), Sándor Gábor (Hungarian) and Jorge Andrés Benítez (Spanish). The full list of existing FBReader localizations includes 16 languages at the moment.

FBReader 0.12.0 for Linux/Windows computers is released (December 7, 2009).
